Purpose: Manage the interlibrary loan workflow. To request and receive Interlibrary Loans (ILL) patron requests in a timely fashion, To liaise with external libraries regarding interlibrary loans. To communicate issues relating to recurring concerns, the Hanna Municipal Library reputation and any problems needing assistance to the Library Director.

SRC Coordinator

Summer Reading Clubs are an initiative of public libraries in Canada to maintain or improve the literacy skills of school-age children over the summer.  This is a very important part of our summer programming at Hanna Municipal Library.

Purpose:  Hanna Municipal Library is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual to lead our TD Summer Reading Club (SRC) programs. The Summer Reading Program Coordinator will lead the library’s efforts to provide engaging and educational programs and services for youth ages 0-16. They will also assist in providing library services to the community.

Volunteering

Share your skills and passions as a Hanna Municipal Library volunteer!

Do you have a love of stories and books, or video games and movies? Join our team and enjoy fantastic conversations with like-minded individuals in the community. We are always looking for volunteers to join our team and make a difference!
We have Volunteer application forms available at the library for a variety of different duties. We look forward to chatting with you about your volunteer experience!

Criminal record check required

ADULT PROGRAM VOLUNTEER

This exciting position assists with various Library programs in the community. 
Usually, this requires four to ten hours per month, we are very flexible with your availability. All programs are scheduled well in advance and requirements communicated before the event. 
We need help with programs of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. Let us know what ages you are comfortable helping with!

You would represent the Library at all sorts of community events and fun programs!

YOUTH VOLUNTEER (ages 13 - 17)

Under 18 and looking for something to do? Join our Youth Volunteer Team!!
Help out with toddler and youth events in and outside the Library. Have your say on what activities and games would be fun for your age group and even recommend literature we should have in our local collection for teens. Join our team, have fun and make a difference!
