Due to government restrictions, and to help keep our community safe, the library building will be temporarily closed to patrons as of Sunday, December 13.
On December 8th, the Government of Alberta announced new restrictions. Included in those restrictions is the closure of libraries throughout Alberta. The Hanna Municipal Library will be closed to in-person services after 2pm on Saturday, December 12.
During this time we have the following services available.
Curbside Pickup & Item Return
Curbside pickup of items is available. No appointment is required. Place items on hold with your library card, or call us, and pick them up when they're ready. Call the library at 403-854-3865 and we will bring them to the front door or to your car.
Curbside pickup is available:
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 11am-4pm
Thursday from 11am-6pm
Saturday from 11am-2pm
To order items for curbside pickup, place holds through our library catalogue, or give us a call at 403-854-3865. You will be notified by phone, email, or text message. Come to the library during our regular hours and give us a call.
The outdoor book drop will remain open 24/7 for item returns. Due dates remain the same and overdue fines have been waived until June 30, 2021. We quarantine all item returns for 3 days prior to checking them in. Your items will remain on your account until after the quarantine period.

Craft Kits & Borrow Bundles
